SEPA Card Clearing
The SEPA Card Clearing Framework initiated by the Berlin Group defines formats and rules for the clearing of card payments. The ISO 20022-based formats are used both for the exchange of card payments data between customer and bank, and in the interbank area.
SCC formats in the Banking Server
Service data centers use the SCC formats to transmit data of card payments to banks. In the current version of the BL Banking Server these data can now be processed according to the effective regulations about order types. Supported are the order types:
- CK7 for the receipt of corrections of SCC templates in a container by service data centers
- CK8 for the receipt of SCC templates in a container by service data centers
SCC with the German Deutschen Bundesbank and the BL Clearing Server
Also the German Bundesbank adopts SEPA card clearing functions as a part of CSM (Clearing and Settlement Mechanism) in the interbank area. The BL Clearing Server supports the exchange through the processing of the order types QK1, QK2, QK3 and QK4.
